Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the MyAccounts platform. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, store, or share content that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes unlawful activities.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (e.g., copyright, trademark).
  • Contains viruses, malware, trojan horses, or other harmful code.
  • Is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or threatening.
  • Contains sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent (other than what is necessary for legitimate business expense processing).

2. Prohibited Actions

You agree not to:

  • Abuse the Service: Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its related systems.
  • Scraping: Use automated bots, scrapers, or spiders to access or extract data from the Service without our prior written permission.
  • Reverse Engineering: Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide the Service.
  • Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or computer systems.
  • Reselling: Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

3. Fair Usage Policy

To ensure the best experience for all users, we enforce a Fair Usage Policy:

  • Upload Limits: Accounts are subject to limits on the number of receipt uploads per month based on your subscription plan.
  • Storage Limits: We reserve the right to impose reasonable limits on the total storage space used by an account.
  • API Usage: If you use our API, excessive request volumes that degrade system performance may be throttled or blocked.

If your usage significantly exceeds average patterns or negatively impacts other users, we may contact you to discuss upgrading your plan or modifying your usage.

4. Security Reporting

If you discover a security vulnerability or suspect abusive activity on the platform, please report it to us immediately at security@excelbusinessservices.ie.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this AUP, including:

  • Removing offending content.
  • Suspending or terminating your account.
  • Reporting illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.
